Welcome to Linda and Alan Swift's Slow Session web pages.

There is a large jump in moving from playing a tune by yourself at home to playing in a session with others. We are looking to give new players the opportunity to make that jump by playing the tunes slowly with music available.

We have been facilitating slow sessions for many years and will be leading four slow sessions at the 2023 Australian National Folk Festival. We will be joined by Wayne Millar this year. Look for us in the Snowy River Sessions Bar.
